Compassion House Foundation
We’re proud to share that the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton has awarded a $2,650 grant to the Compassion House Foundation for LED lighting upgrades as part of our Community Initiative Grant program!
This grant will help Compassion House with essential LED lighting upgrades, providing a long-lasting and sustainable improvement to their operations. Compassion House continues to do incredible work for women in need, and we’re honored to contribute to their mission!
Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association
The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton is excited to announce a $14,000 grant to the Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association to fund one Strikeforce Chair!
This specialized equipment will enable an athlete with cerebral palsy to participate in adaptive sports, making a lasting impact in our community.
This grant, part of our Community Initiative Grant program, is all about building sustainable, long-term support for organizations that serve the greatest needs in Edmonton. By funding capital-based projects like this Strikeforce Chair, we aim to provide assets that continue to benefit the community for years to come. We are grateful for all of the community support that help us to accomplish initiatives like this one.
Harmonia
Supporting Our Community through Music! The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton is delighted to present a $600 contribution to @harmoniaedmonton to support the purchase of new music stands and sheet music!
We are honored to help enhance the musical experience for Harmonia’s members and audiences alike, contributing to a growing and vibrant arts scene in our community.

Youth Rise
Proud moments like these showcase the heart of our community! The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton is delighted to present a $8,535.00 contribution to Youth Rise for a full walk-in closet equipped with shelves, cabinets, a mirror, and a changing spot, plus a deep freeze, brand-new TVs, and Nintendo Switches. These additions bring warmth, comfort, and resources to support youth in need.

Wings of Providence
Moments like these highlight the incredible power of community support! The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton presented a $15,000 donation to Wings of Providence to help with shelter bed and mattress upgrades, enhancing the comfort and care for those seeking refuge. Wings of Providence is dedicated to providing safe, second-stage housing and support for women and children escaping domestic violence. This contribution aims to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to families as they work towards brighter futures.

Catholic Social Services’ Sign of Hope
Proud to make a difference in our community!
We’re proud to present a $5,514 donation to Catholic Social Services’ Sign of Hope, helping fund sensory therapy equipment for Agape East, Agape West, St. Christopher, St. Nicholas, and Zeno House.
Sensory therapy has been proven to help individuals with developmental disabilities calm and focus themselves. With this funding, residents will have access to personalized sensory tools designed to increase relaxation, reduce anxiety and agitation, and provide engaging activities. These facilities will also include dedicated spaces for play and relaxation, giving residents a safe environment to learn coping strategies.
The impact goes beyond the individual—these skills enable residents to actively participate in their communities and strengthen connections with their families.

Parkinson Association of Alberta
A step toward a stronger, healthier community!
The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton presented a $4,500 cheque to the Parkinson Association of Alberta for equipment upgrades to the Buchanan Centre fitness room. These upgrades will provide individuals impacted by Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s Plus Syndromes with improved resources to maintain physical health and well-being.
The Parkinson Association of Alberta is dedicated to being a source of support, education, and inspiration for individuals and families navigating Parkinson’s disease. They empower people to live well physically, mentally, and socially, while engaging in vital quality-of-life research.
